Mortal Shell 2 Shell Locations

01Fainweald shells

• Tiel — buried in a shallow grave near the Mushroom Village and Widow's Overlook area. No boss and no quest requirement, which makes him the easiest first claim.
• Proxima — inside the Shattered Beacon, north-east of Blackridge Pass. Unlike Tiel you have to enter the beacon structure before you can claim her remains.
• Eredrim — requires getting into the fortress in the north-western part of Fainweald.

02Mammon shells

• Lazlo the Justiciar — waits in the tower at the top of the Royal Crypt of Mammon. Fight up to the Royal Crypt Mammoth boss; Lazlo's remains become claimable right after.
• Sariel the Endless — tucked inside the Chamber of Becoming dungeon, in the Silent Steps area of the Ruins of Mammon.

03Sester Genessa — the two-step unlock

Genessa is the one people get stuck on, because the shell is handed over at Marrow Keep but the unlock item is not there.

Kill Sester Secundus, a boss near the entrance to the abbey that leads to the Sester's Gate. The kill drops the Sester's Censer. Carry that back to Sester Genessa at Marrow Keep and hand it over.

04Still unverified

Smert and Gragu are part of the eight, but their locations are not yet confirmed across two independent sources. Rather than guess coordinates, this page marks them TBC and will be updated once they are verified.

05Nothing here is missable

All shells remain available after the final boss during free roam, before you choose to enter New Game+. Finding all of them is required for the Shell Seeker trophy, alongside an individual trophy for each shell.
