01The three that start cleansed

If you are counting toward completion and your total looks three short, this is why. Those three cannot be cleansed because they never needed it.

• Outskirts of Mammon

02What cleansing involves

Cleansing is not a single interaction. You enter the beacon and work through a mini dungeon full of enemies, sometimes including a miniboss, then claim an Ova at the end.

That makes beacons a meaningful chunk of playtime rather than a checklist tick, and it is why several of them gate other rewards.

03Beacons that gate something else

• Shattered Beacon, north-east of Blackridge Pass — you must enter it to claim the Proxima shell.
• Sester's Gate — clearing the dungeon leads to the Twin Sesters fight, after which the Stray Sester drops the Black Needle spear.
• Silent Steps — the Sariel fights near this beacon drop the Clockwork Scythe, with the Caged Hystrix sidearm nearby.
• Gloomshade Grove — its jump teleporter is how you reach Desolate Peaks for the Baghead questline.
